Part of the former Stonewall Manor estate is under threat by off-shore developers. These businessmen have no interest in Frome, past, present or future. They want to replace an ancient orchard with cramped, crowded, incongruous new houses. The habitats of wildlife, including protected species,will be destroyed. The tranquillity and beauty of the conservation area will be blighted.
